Sunday Stylin - Accessories Haul

Hello lovelies :) Hows your weekend going?
Mine has been absolutely amazing so far, yesterday I saw my gorgeous boyfriend in the day watched the England game and just relaxed which was beautiful. Then, speaking of beautiful on the evening I went to the LG arena to see the one and only...

And my GOD was he AMAZING. I sung so much I lost my voice and I cried my eyes out for about 10 minutes when he sung Hero - That song always gets me ha-ha. So all in all a lovely weekend!

Back to Fashion news - the focus of todays post  is something I've neglected for a while - Accessories. I love looking for gorgeous additions to add to an outfit and totally transform it so I can't beleive it's been so long since I've last done an accessories post!

26.09.2010- These boots are made for autumn

Statement shoes, bags and accessories are back with a bang for this Autumn/Winter, and nowhere on the high street is there a better collection of designer influenced accessories than at Dune. Their forthcoming Venetian Masquerade collection features opulent velvet fabrics and jewelled details, perfect for the party season. Starlight Express evokes a tougher edge with high shine buckles and chains on sky high leather boots all in a functional colour spectrum of blacks, taupes and nudes. Finally, The Aviator taps in to the key military trend of the season, as seen on the Burberry catwalk. This collection is all about the functionality of footwear, from shearling lined worker boots evocative of the 1940's working girl, to the classic brogue in a nod to androgynous style. On the bag front, leather satchels and industrial style buckle details are big news, as is the ladylike tote and statement clutch. Dune's collection of jewellery for this season also features adorable statement necklaces and bracelets adorned with charms, as well as dazzling cocktail rings, the perfect finishing touch to any party outfit. Here are my picks from their Autumn/Winter 2010 lookbook:

Petrol Boot, £85.
Jerica Shoe Boot, £99.
Banish Shoe Boot, £110.
Paddie Brogue, £55.

Pollie Tote, £65.
Cate Satchel, £95.
Laurent Clutch, £55.

Scarlet Cocktail Ring, £25.

Sandy Charm Braclet, £45.

The Pollie tote has gone straight to the top of my shopping list!

What do you think of Dune's latest collection? Anything you're tempted by? And what will you be investing in for the Autumn?

September = Shoes

September seems like a bit of the ultimate shoe month to me. Everywhere I go at the moment all I see is the brand new ‘hot’ shoes for autumn. I’m desperate to get a pair of super high shoe-boots because they are sexy as hell… but rationality tells me there aint no way I’ll be able to walk in them properly. Instead I might settle for a super high platform shoe - platform = balance right? And then just feast upon all the beautiful flat shoes that are around at the moment. That way I should get my shoe fix whilst maintaining none broken ankles, win win right?

Some of my high street autumn favourites -
Dorothy Perkins - £35
New Look - £24.99
New Look - £16.00
Asos - £40

Most Wanted @ Topman

Topman has styled 3 outfits with 3 different themes using their most sought after pieces at the moment. I’m more in favor of the smart look though :o]

ASOS Retro Satchel's

These are somewhat reminiscent of my freshman days at uni were satchels were considered the norm. It ok to have different kind of bags in your wardrobe and a satchel will be a decent investment. The Striped one is my favorite but the plain canvas one is not bad either. Retails for $42.84

Spitfire Removable Lens Glasses

I’m not the biggest fan of sunglasses and accessories label Spitfire, but sometimes they are pretty impressing. This removable double sunglass is a good alternative to the double flip ones for those who don’t have the guts to wear them. Retails for $31.04.
