If I were rich I would buy you...

Hello my lovely bloggers! I hope you're all well and good. The frosty air is certainly nipping at my excitement for Christmas - cannot beleive the big day is less than two weeks ago now! Whilst I'm aware I sound like a seven year old (hey, never a bad thing at Christmas right?) I've decided to do a little Christmassy post for you all today.

Now you all (hopefully) know how much I love you - each and every one of you puts a massive smile on my face, unfortunately however, I don't have the budget required to buy you all a present as I would love to.

However, for today's post I've compiled a little list of what I would buy a few certain bloggers (couldn't fit you all in - sorry D=) if I had the dosh :

For the bombshell that is BONNIE I would purchase this suitably bombshell red DRESS for her to rock her amazing bod in. For the rock n roll LOWRI I would send this gorgeous skull encrusted PURSE for a little dark glamour. For the beautiful REBECCA it would, of course be a sparkling RING to add to her amazing collection. For the scandalous KATY it would have to be something cute with a COLLAR. For EMMA (get well soon!) it would be the most beautiful pair of HEELS to add to her shoedrobe. For LAUNA a punky little set of RINGS for a punch with attitude. For JULES a walk on the wild side with a printed SCARF to keep her cosy. And for VANILLA a beautiful statement BAG that would work with anything in her new closet.
For the beautiful SOPHIE a gorgeous floaty BLOUSE to keep up her summer romance. For the lovely RACHEL a snuggly CARDI to cuddle up to Liam in. For the amazing HARRIET a teired MAXI that would blow everyone away. For MADEMOISELLE LALA the cutest monochrome SHOES. For CAROLINE a gorgeous celeb style BAG and for the ultimate yummy mummy DANI some rock chick FLATS for a quick injection of attitude.

All budget friendly high-st pieces I hasten to add!
Happy Christmas Bloggers!

Talk to me Tuesday - Chatting with Caroline's Catwalk.

Hey honeys, so sorry this post is up rather late in the day I've had a slightly manic one filled with working, working and uh more working! Still going although given that I'm now blog posting at the same time it might be time to call it a night or run the risk of talking to you about Health and Safety in Schools and my nightschool assessor on how fabulous Carolines Catwalk is.

'Carolines Catwalk?' I hear you murmur 'what is she on about this time?' Allow me to elaborate ;) the absolutely lovely Caroline from Carolines Catwalk was the lucky lady who won my Chanel Giveaway a couple of weeks back. As part of the 'prize' I wanted to share with you all a little insight into her blog and her life and use this oppurtunity to encourage you to check her out because she is just gorgeous and her blog is fast becoming one of my faves!

Let's find out a little more about her :

Hi Caroline, Congrats on winning the giveaway! Would you liketo kick us of by giving us a little introduction to yourself:

Hi, thanks Sarah! I’mCaroline
I’m 25 and live in the UK.I studied English at uni and my dreamjob would be writing about celebrities and fashion on my favourite ‘heat’magazine! I started blogging over the summer as a way to share my passion andideas. I’m a total TV addict and also love baking and visiting markets.

1) Now on to the blog stuff ;) As an absolutely fabulousfellow blogger would you like to share with us what your lovely blog is allabout?
Myblog combines my love of fashion and celebrity. I like to keep up with what myfavourite celebs have been snapped wearing and finding designer inspired piecesto emulate their style on a high street budget. I also focus on new trends andhow to introduce them into your wardrobe and showcase some of my favouritebrands and my most wanted items from their collections. I’m also planning on incorporatingmy love of cosmetics and writing about some of my favourite beauty products.

2) Did anything in particular inspire you to begin Caroline’sCatwalk (great blog name btw!)
I’d been reading some great blogs for a while and wanted to give it a gotoo. I love seeing what people have been buying and reading reviews of newproducts, my shopping wish list is growing by the day!

3) What would you say is your favourite part of being ablogger?
I love chatting on here and on twitter with likeminded people who share my passions. I reallyenjoy writing about what inspires me and it puts a smile on my face every timeI receive a comment or see my follower count increase knowing that someone isinterested in what I have to say.

4) Is there anything that surprised you particularly aboutthe blog world? (E.G being more friendly than you thought, more widespread etc)
Thereis a great sense of community amongst bloggers, everyone is so friendly andhelpful.

5) On the personal side of things who would you say is yourultimate fashion icon (if you're like me and completely indecisive feel free tolist a few)? What about them inspires you and do you take elements of theirstyle into account when purchasing your own goodies?
That’s a hard one tonarrow down! Lauren Conrad is one of my ultimate style crushes, I don’t thinkI’ve ever seen her having an off day! She always looks great no matter if she’sdressed down in a t-shirt and jeans or glammed up at an event. I wish I had herwardrobe! I also like Fearne Cotton’s style, how she works current trends andmixes high street with designer pieces. I also really admire Florence Welch’sboho style and think she always looks fabulous. I take inspiration from theirfashion choices but try to find more purse friendly options!

6) Would you say you were more of a designer treat girl or ahigh-street lady? Or something in between?
I’m definitelymore of a high street lady, if only my budget stretched to designer! I do lovedesigner pieces though, especially bags as I think they’ll last you a lifetimeand will go with lots of outfits so you will get your money’s worth in the end!

7) Relating to the above question what is your personalfavourite high-end and high-street store and why?
High end- Ienjoy looking round Selfridges and House of Fraser as they have lots of greatdesigners all under one roof. I also have to go in a Mulberry shop whenever Ipass one to look at the beautiful bags!
High street- Newlook has lots of great budget buys and an impressive range of shoes. H&Mhas become one of my favourite places to shop over the last year, they alwayshave some really unique designs, and Topshop is always on trend.

8) How would you describe your personal style? Is it set toone particular style or are you prone to floating between a few?
I would describemy personal style as quite girly. I love wearing dresses and have quite a lot of floraland polka dot prints in my wardrobe. I like experimenting with new trends butthink it’s important to know what works for you.

9) What would be your dream everyday outfit?
My dream everydayoutfit would be a gorgeous dress with a blazer on top and I would accessorize witha beautiful vintage scarf. I have a bit of a scarf obsession but believe theyreally can make an outfit! My dream shoes would be some beautiful black patent Louboutin heels, no matter how hard they were to walk in!

10) If you won £1000 where would you head to spend it?
I would head straight toMulberry to buy my beloved Bayswater bag and then probably splash the restbuying some new outfits on the high street. I really need a new winter coatwith the cold weather creeping in so that would probably be at the top of mylist too, if only I could decide what style I want!

11) What would your keypieces for this Autumn/ Winter season be
My key pieces for this season would be sheer fabrics, Ireally love sheer shirts right now. Chunky knitwear, especially big cosycardigans to throw on over a dress. I’ve been hunting for a new blazer recentlyto wear over dresses or smarten up a pair of jeans. I seem to be drawn to camel colours right now and think it can look especially stylish andchic when paired with black. I also can’t wait for party dresses to startfilling up the shops this season!

12) Finally do you have any advice for bloggers who are juststarting out or maybe even only thinking about starting a blog of their own?
I’dsay just give it a go, you don’t know what you’re missing! Writeabout what you love and enjoy. I was nervous writing my first post and it canfeel a bit daunting in the beginning but stick with it and it’ll be worth it in thelong run!

So there we are my lovelies! Mega thanks to Caroline for doing this interview and please go and check out Carolines Catwalk! It wont let you down - promise!
