Sunday Snapshots - Seaside Edition

Hello lovelies! Ooh I wouldn't be suprised if you can't all imagine the silly grin that's plastered on my face right now as I prepare to bombard you with a few Seaside adventure pictures ha-ha.

Between long, long walks on the beach, giant breakfasts, spots of shopping (rude not too) dips in the pool, dressing up for dinner time with the most special ones <3 and of course lots and lots of 'photography' this little break was everything I needed and much more.

Here's a very edited (I think I took about 300 photos) peek at what we enjoyed:

What I wore Wednesday

Hello beauties, I'm well and truly back in the gloomy old Middlands - Boo! Very much missing the sun, the sea, the sand and the absolutely amazing time I had on my little mini break.

Don't fret, lots of seaside pics will be heading your way soon (need to sort out my ginormous folder of them first)

For now I have an OOTD for you that I wore out for what was one of the most gorgeous meals of my life (red pepper + goats cheese risotto - mhmmm!) at the hotel.

(Also hey sneak preview at the sea ;))

(Shh - dont tell him he's on here too <3)

- Silk shirt - Vintage (thanks mama)

- Leather Skirt H&M also seen here
- Shoes - New Look
- Silk Shrug - Primark

The silk shrug/cardigan was actually a holiday purchase (I know I know but it'd be rude not to right?) which I found in the most gorgeous and civilised Primark I've ever been to (Birmingham you need to learn from this place) and thanks to it's rather irresistable combination of silky smooth fabric and deceptive warmth - managed to keep me goosebump free on the seafront! I think it's earnt a strong place in my wardrobe.

So there you are loves, first of many little glimpses into Sarahs seaside adventure ha-ha hope you're all well

Wednesday Wish List - Missguided eddition.

Hello babes! Hope everyone is doing well  this week :) mid-week party time already woo! Today the long- lost Wednesday Wish List section is back with a very special twist! Most of you I'm sure will have by now heard of http://www.missguided.co.uk/ the amazing online fashion website! Missguided has a fabulous selection of gorgeous outfits from party dresses to holiday ready summer dresses

I am absolutely loving the site at the moment - mostly because I can be as lazy as I want on a Saturday, avoid the manic push and shove of the city center and still find some gorge clothes to add to my bursting wardrobe. Here are my top favourites from Missguided today :

Firstly we have this amazing pale blue printed maxi dress which I completely and utterly fell in love with. The delicate colour scheme and cute pattern are just so feminine and cute without being sickly! This to me is a very Nicole Richie/Rachel Zoe style dress and I'd team it with some sandals and a denim jacket for a real summer feel.
Missguided £32.99

Next up we have this flirty and glam frock which would be perfect for those Summer Nights (ew singing Grease in my head now) as it's sexy and sassy and flattering in black but also lightweight enough to cope with the heat of a Summer Club. Perfecto.
Missguided £24.99
Next we have these fierce wedges which I personally think again look very Nicole Richie - I can imagine her teaming them with a gorgeous floral dress to toughen it up. I'd team with skinny jeans and a loose tee for a look that screams laid back glamour, or with the black dress above for a chic party time look.
Missguided £35.99

Then we have this beautiful demure day dress that I think would be amazing for a summer date. The cute floral patterning and floaty hemline keep it quirky whilst the length and cut keep it appropriate (no flashing on the first date) I'd team either with nude courts like the model in the picture or with some super pretty sandals for a more casual affair.
We then have this divine Mocha shaded maxi dress that is the ultimate in relaxed glamour. The beautiful colour would look gorgeous with your summer tans and the super flattering cut allows you to keep your shape whilst it skims any post-holiday overindulgences - my kind of holiday essential.
Missguided £17.99

Finally we have these completely fierce platform heels. I adore the bold colour of them - think how much they'd jazz up your favourite LBD. These are perfect for those girls who want to get in on the colour-blocking trend but feel a little too self-conscious to wrap their body in hot pink lyrca! Additionally these would look incredible in winter teamed with some sexy leather leggings!
Missguided £35.99

So there you are lovelies! What do you think of the lovely missguided? Personally they're deffo a fave of mine - trendy as hell and perfect for fashion on a budget!
Check them out and let me know what you'd love to be buying this week <3

Saturday Style Steal - Blake Lively

Hi lovelies, hope you're enjoying your weekend! The suns finally come out here - so happy! So lots of sunbathing and lazing around and hopefully transforming myself into a bronzed babe is planned for today ha-ha.

Before that though I have a requested Style Steal for you - Miss Blake Lively.

The Gossip Girl actress has always been touted for her style but in the last year or so her looks have really began to generate real fashion attention (E.G catching the attention of Chanel... as you do) so here she is looking laid back and cute on holiday:

In this shot Blake is wearing a mix of Chloe, BGB generation and Thayer.

And here is how to get the look for a lot less curtesy of the Great British High-Street:

This gorgeous lightweight white dress - perfect for showing off bronzed pins, the sheer style fabric would keep you lovely and cool whilst the flattering cut would hide any holiday indulgence.
ASOS £17.50
These super cute + comfy looking sandals - perfect for strolling down the beach in style, the cute gold detail keeps them interesting whilst the simple brown colour meens they'd work with a range of colours for masses of holiday options (hello cutting down on baggage costs)
H&M £14.99
This adorable printed bag, just big enough for all your holiday essentials - sunglasses, phone, ipod + sunscreen and a super cute pattern which would add a gorgeous pretty effect to any simple holiday look.
Accessorise £28.00
And lastly this cute little belt to nip you right in and keep your holiday silhouette sleek whilst still being comfy and casual. This belt would work great over all neutral colours for your holiday wardrobe. Aside from it's excellent versatility the best thing about this is the absolute bargain price (Gotta love H&M)
H&M £3.99

So there you are lovelies, hope you enjoy this look and of course your weekends!
Have a great time
You know you love me xoxo
