Monday Must Have 05/12/11

Yikes. When did Christmas sneak up on us all like that? All of a sudden, what seemed a far off event not so long ago, is well and truly upon us! So unprepared!

I hope that you are all well and good today, although it is already miserable Monday again, we at least have the benefit of knowing that there's only a couple more weeks to get through before the time for dancing, drinking and dying of indigestion will be here. (I make it sound soooo appealing don't I?)

Today's Monday Must Have has a little hint of the Christmas spirit about it I.E. - It's Glity!

Whilst yes, it is a little pricey, I truly beleive the versatility of this Tee makes it more than worth a little indulgence. And after all, Christmas is all about indulgence, no?

Lets have a look how you could style this baby :

Outfit One

Er, can you say ROCKSTAR? Because this outfit certainly can. It simply exhudes rock n roll glamour with a serious side of confidence. The leather trousers are bad-girl styling at it's best, whilst the powerful shoulders on the jacket help add to the effect. The fierce jewellery, class of textures, fabrics and patterns (hell-o snakeskin clutch!) really make this almost runway ready. This is the outfit to give you serious fashionista credentials this Winter.

Outfit Two

If outfit one was on-duty model, outfit two is definitely off duty model style. The luxurious burgundy jeans (so hot this winter) work perfectly with the beaten denim jacket - double denim doesn't have to be dire! Then the rock chick bag + boots help to root the outfit allowing the gorgeous tee to be the focal point. Casual-Luxe. Casual - LUSH.

Outfit Three

Outfit Three is the perfect combination for a winter night. A little warmth (the jacket) a little glam (the top) a little bling (the jewells) a little class (the bag) and a little super,duper,duper hot-shiz (the skirt). Mix it all together and you have a delicious wearable cocktail. And trust me, there wont be any hangover from this.

Outfit Four

Outfit Four is my perfect kind of shopping outfit. (As if shopping isn't perfect enough?!) Combining comfort - the boots, the jeans and the scarf, with sharp tailoring (the blazer) to keep you from looking sloppy. And topping it off with some serious glam - HELLO sexy shades!

So there we go. One top. Four ways.

Tuesday Trend : Slouchy Tee's

I really feel like the title of today post should actually be "Tuesday Trend : Topshop Slouchy Tee's" because honestly everything I'm about to feature comes from the High-Street Mecca that is Topshop ha-ha. Moving on though, todays trend focus is as you might have already guessed...

Slouchy Tee's:

Fast becoming a major feature in any high-street store! Simple but chic and oh so awesomely versatile this is definitely a key item for your spring/summer wardrobe and will more than likely carry through to Autumn/Winter too!

The original Slouchy T that first appeared on the high-street was a classic white T with a slight distressed and worn look like this one:

I myself also have the above Topshop Top and wore it recently in a vaguely Nicole inspired outfit teamed with a leather high waist skirt from H&M and some black platforms from Miss Selfridge :

This is personally one of my favourite outfits - it's simple yet I felt really hot wearing it and I think it has a lovely effect mixing the casual fabric of the Tee with the luxurious leather.
