The Victoria and Albert Museum in Kensington is one of my favourite places ever. I love getting lost (usually unintentionally!) there and looking at all of the stunning exhibits they display, so what better way to spend my day off work yesterday than by visiting? Here are some photos from my day.
Medieval and Renaissance 300-1500 Exhibition
These images really don't do the beauty of the exhibits justice; they all the more impressive given that nearly everything in this exhibition was hand-carved/crafted.
Theatre and Performance Galleries
Stunning collection of black and white theatre and cinema photography; pictured are
Cate Blanchett and Emilia Fox.

If you ever get the chance to visit the V&A, I can't recommend it highly enough. It's the perfect place to lose yourself in the past, if only for a couple of hours.
