My Style Monday

Hey babes! Hope you're all enjoying this 99th Bank Holiday we've got going on right now. The weathers been pretty crap again (I really should be used to this by now living in England ha-ha) but it's been nice just to relax with family + my gorgeous boyfriend so I cannot complain. What've you lovely lot been up to? Anything fabulous?
Today I have an OOTD for you inspired by the gorge Bonnie who runs the fabbo blog http://www.glamkittenslitterbox.com/ which is purrfect (see what I did there) so check it out! Bonnie A.K.A Rockstar told me I should wear red so of course I obeyed.
Here's the result :

 I'm wearing:
- Dress H&M
- Clutch New Look
-Shoes Forever 21
- Dumb headbad - 20 years old ;)

What do you ladies think of Red? Love or loathe?
Let me know :)

30.05.2011- Monday Must-haves: Topshop Special

I've had the idea of a putting together a regular 'must have' post for a while, so I can share with you bits and pieces which have caught my eye (which will then double as a shopping list for when I'm next out and about, clever eh?) This week (until June 4th), those lovely penny conscious folks over at Topshop are offering a 20% student discount instead of the usual 10%. Perfect if, like me, you're about to graduate and wave goodbye to your NUS discount forever (sob!) So, with this in mind, my debut Monday Must-haves post features a selection of pieces from Topshop which I'm loving at the moment (and which I will probably cave in and purchase in the not too distant future!)

I got two pairs of the Kristen Jeans for Christmas, and they are a firm favourite in my wardrobe. I'm also a massive fan of Topshop's Make Up collection, so will definitely be having a rummage to see what I can pick up.

What do you think of my picks? Has anything in Topshop caught your eye recently?

Saturday Styling - Floral - How to Wear

Hello beauties, I hope you're all well and enjoying your weekend! I can't tell you how glad I was to reach Saturday this week I've had a crappy stressfull week but I'm feeling so much better now and now it's officially the weekend this feel good feeling can get even better, yay!
This week I have an exploration of a trend that I abolutely adore for you : Florals
Those of you who regularily check out my Wednesday Wish Lists will be very aware that I'm such a fan of Floral it's ridiculous. I adore how versatile it is and how you can work it into your wardrobe and find a way to rock it whatever your style.
So to show this versatility what I've done for you this week is design a few Floral based outfits each showcasing a different style.

Here we are:
Outfit 1

Classic Floral
Outfit 1 is a very classic and slightly preppy take on Floral. The simple nude accessories work together with the pretty and feminine dress to create a timeless and well put together look. The earings add a cute edge and combined with the floral detailing on the shoe ties the whole look together. This is perfect for girls who like to look perfectly put together, classy and elegant.
Outfit 2
Boho Floral
Outfit 2 is the complete anthisesis of Outfit 1. This Bohemian floral look is free spirited, it's casually pulled together and it has a very relaxed effect. The dress has a gorgeous ecclectic pattern that shows floral dresses don't always have to look the same. The sandles add a real funky effect with their detailing and the layers of jewellery create a textured finish to the look. This would work for free spirited girls who love to look relaxed and casual but yet remain stylish.
Outfit 3
Rock chick Floral
Outfit 3 is my kind of Floral style - it's fierce, it's edgy and it shows that Floral doesn't have to be twee and girly. The simple shirt is a gorgeous Floral piece that teamed with the tougher accessories helps showcase a more rock n roll style whilst still allowing you to dip into the Floral trend. This look would work well on girls who love rock n roll style but want to incorporate new ideas such as Floral into their wardrobes.

And finally Outfit 4

Outfit 4 is a Vintage esque, quirky way to style the Floral trend. The super cute shorts are gorgeous & have a unique vintage style pattern and teamed with the simple shirt & red shades create a really retro feel. The cute flats and the ecclectic hat adds yet more of a whimsical edge to the outfit. This look would be perfect for girls who love vintage styling or just wearing unique outfits.

So there we go lovelies, four very different ways to wear the Floral trend.
Could you imagine wearing any of them? What's your favourite?
