Tuesday Trend : Formal Wear

Hello beauties! After all that moaning about the rain yesterday the sun has finally decided to come out - Happy Bunny (even though I wont get to rock my awesome umbrellas now). This meens my attention can be diverted elsewhere! Lately there has been a massvie amount of Celebrity award shows - The Billboards, Cannes etc etc and of course as part of that we've been flooded with a big influx of celebs flaunting it in designer gowns!

Some of my personal favourites have been:

Salma Hayek in Gucci at Cannes

And:
Taylor Swift in Ellie Saab at the Billboard awards.

This has lead to me going on a little  hunt for you lovelies to try and find some High-Street options for you for any formal occasion you might be heading too (if this happens to be any huge film premiere feel free to take me along too ;) )

Here we go:

Firstly we have this simple but effortlessy gorgeous navy blue dress. A twist on typical 'black' but still very figure flattering. The lovely ruched halterneck would be perfect for pear-shapes seeking to balance out a larger bottom half.
ASOS £50.00

Next we have this subtle gold coloured gown with gorgeous sleeved details and a flattering slightly empire-line cut. The soft colour is perfect for Summer elegance and would look great at anything from a formal party to a Summer wedding.
River Island £69.99

Then we have this luscious bright gown which perfectly works this Summers 'Colour Block' trend. The lovely warm shade would look stunning with either Gold or Silver accessories or Turquise blue for a lovely twist.
ASOS £65.00

Then we have this divine Carrie Bradshaw / Halston esque dress which with it's divine pale pink shade is the perfect Summer go-to gown.
River Island £59.99

Then we have my personal fave. This gorgeous nude coloured Grecian style gown, which with it's elegant layered detail and gorgeous one shouldered top makes a divine and unique looking dress which would firmly put you on the 'best dressed' lists.
ASOS £40.00
Finally we have this gorgeous Princess worthy dress (for all you Kate Middelton wannabees) which with it's gorgeous fitted waist and looser skirt would be more than flattering on most shapes. A simple large cocktail ring and killer heels and you'd be ready for Harry!H&M £34.99

There you are lovelies you SHALL go to the ball ;)
What do you think?
