Top 10 best dressed celebrities

10. Mollie King

The Saturdays singer works a pair of shorts and camel ankle boots like a pro. Just dont look directly at her in bright sunlight that Colgate white smile has the potential to blind unsuspecting passersby.

9. Abbey Clancy

This lad mag favourite has all the attributes to make summer dressing a breeze; the sun-kissed hair, perfect figure and dewy skin. And, being a WAG, she has both a dazzling array of swimwear and countless yacht-based opportunities to show off her summer sartorial skill.

8. Kate Bosworth|

The all-American girl was best-dressed at this years Coachella festival and fronted a must-have festival collection for Topshop to boot. Shes solely responsible for our summer obsession with broderie anglaise short suits and shearling waistcoats. And we dont even like waistcoats.

7. Rihanna

This cheeky popstrel is never knowingly over-dressed so its basically summer all year round in Rihannas world. From string vests to gladiator boots and T-shirt dresses, there is no one better at narcissistic flashing of the flesh and, when you look that good doing it, why not?

6. Nicole Richie

The reality star turned fashion designer is one of the best in the business at boho, from her signature flowing maxi dresses to wide leg palazzo pants 70s retro at its best. She could probably afford to indulge in the odd Big Mac though.

5. Kylie

The diminutive Ms Minogue hasnt aged a bit in the last 20 years and gravity has had no discernible effect on that perfect pert posterior either judging by the recent holiday selfies. Plus, shes Australian so shes made for summer.

4. The Knowles sisters

From Beyonces trip to Cuba earlier in the year to Solanges star turn at Coachella, these girls have shown they are veritable virtuosos when it comes to colourful summer dressing. Channelling Carmen Miranda, combined with a hip hop swagger, the sisters have set the bar for bootylicious summer chic.

3. Eva Mendes

As much as it pains us to say it, Evas sultry Cuban-American looks and fifties inspired style, make her a shoo-in for our top 3. The fact that shes also Mr Goslings significant other doesnt make us even a little bit bitter. Honest.

2. Miranda Kerr

The Aussie Victorias Secret model is regularly seen propping up the summer best dressed lists. A perfect figure, angelic face and simple, pared back summer wardrobe equals a closely fought runner-up spot.

1. Blake Lively

Again, mother nature has blessed Blake with all the assets required to make summer dressing a doddle: Olive skin, sun-kissed wavy hair and lithe limbs. She definitely doesnt sweat, she glows.  She also excels at red-hot, red-carpet dressing, usually opting for a micro mini and one-off Louboutins to show off those endless pins. In our darker moments, it makes us want to put our heads under the duvet and wait for autumn.

18.04.2011- California Dreamin'

Anyone who knows me well will tell you that going to a music festival is my idea of hell. Although I'm sure the atmosphere at places like Glastonbury and Reading is fantastic, I've never seen the appeal of being stuck inside a tent without access to hot water, a proper loo or a comfortable bed. As 'old-before-my-time' as it makes me sound, I'd much rather watch festival coverage on TV, sat on the sofa with a mug of tea and a biscuit or two, content in the knowledge that I don't have to worry about my tent flooding or getting trench foot from my waterlogged wellies. However, if I was to be seduced into going to one festival, it would, without a shadow of a doubt, be Coachella. Not only does the festival attract amazing headliners year on year, but it also takes places in California, so perfect weather is guaranteed. Coachella 2011 took place over the weekend, and, as we've come to expect, was as star-studded as ever. Here are my picks of the Coachella crew's festival fashion:

Diane Kruger in a relaxed maxi skirt and sun hat combo.
Kate Bosworth showing her patriotic side.
Isabel Lucas in a hippy inspired outfit.
Alexa Chung in a failsafe dress and summer sandals.
And, as if more proof were needed that sunny Coachella was the place to be over the weekend, Emma Hill hosted a Mulberry pool party, complete with cocktails, kebabs and more well-garbed guests...

Alexa (again!)
Camilla Belle.
Emma Hill and Gia Coppola.
Nicole Richie.
The pool...
...and the food!

If looking at that photo of the pool doesn't make you want to book a one way ticket to next year's festival then I don't know what will!

What do you think of music festivals? Have you ever been to one? And who was your best-dressed at Coachella?

04.05.2010- MET Ball 2010

Here are my picks of last night's Costume Institute Gala Red Carpet:

Alexa Chung in Phillip Lim. I adore this look on Alexa, the bow detail really reminds me of a scene from Coco Before Chanel (if you've seen the film you probably know what I'm talking about.) Hair and makeup are styled to perfection, she looks effortlessly chic and really at ease here. Love!

Diane Kruger in Calvin Klein, clean, sophisticated and elegant, I really love her makeup here as well.

Chanel Iman in Michael Kors. I love the fact that Chanel chose to wear a jumpsuit rather than a gown, she looks radiant.

Anne Hathaway in Valentino, looking every inch the fairy tale princess.

Nicole Richie in Marc Jacobs, perfectly co-ordinated.

Kate Bosworth in Valentino, love the Jean Harlow-esque hairstyle, and the beaded detailing on the gown.

Kirsten Dunst in Rodarte for GAP; I am utterly in love with this dress.

Who stood out for you? Any I've missed? And who disappointed you?
