I have a confession to make- I'm a complete and utter jewellery addict. In my bedroom I've got two necklace racks which are heaving under the weight of an array of pendants and chains, a ring holder which is constantly toppling over, and about four jewellery boxes filled with bracelets, brooches and earrings. I really love accessorising with jewellery and can rarely resist picking up something more to add to my collection when I'm out shopping, so imagine how excited I was when I found out about
Violet Vintage, who specialise in vintage and antique jewellery. The Violet Vintage Originals collection features an array of antique jewellery from the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco periods, their Reworked pieces are vintage designs with a modern twist, and the New Vintage range is vintage inspired but newly made from semi-precious metals and stones. I've been perusing their website in search of some treasures to share with you, and here are some of my favourites:

I really love the hummingbird pendant, don't you? And I think each of the pieces are really reasonably priced, given that they are so unique and different from the mass produced jewellery you find on the high street. With my birthday just around the corner (in less than two weeks I'll be 21, help!) and Christmas looming, I might just have to treat myself...
