Celebrity looks for less returns

Hey dolls! How're you all today? Got that Friday feeling or still not quite fizzing with weekend excitement?

Today I have a little blast from the past for you all. Remember my celebrity'Looks for less' features I did a while back? Well after seeing a few gorgeous outfits lately I was inspired to see what I could rustle up from the good ole highstreet to help you recreate these glam ladies style on a budget. Lets have a look who we've got:

Gwen Stefani
'No Doubt' about it this lady has so much style we can all afford to borrow some of it on a budget scale ;)

Evan Rachel Wood
One of my ultimate Girl-Crushes. Total vamp with some absolutely killer style here. She even likes the same tights as me - true love!

Ashlee Simpson.
She may be a bit 'lala' at time but she definitely has an awesome hippie/rock sense of style. Love the delicate dress teamed with fierce coat here.
So there we go then ladies some celeb inspired outfits on a budget, what do we think of this feature? Stay or nay?
Let me know and have a fabulous weekend!

(Ankle) Booty Call

Ha-ha-ha I swear my post titles get more and more cringey, someone needs to have a serious word with me before you all run off in despair! I hope you're all well and good, feels like this week is going strangely fast again and I can't quite beleive that it's September already tomorrow! However, I am very happy with this as it does meen I'm legitimately allowed to claim it's Autumn and dig out the tights, the knits and of course... the boots.

Ah yes, boots. Now I'm a person who's guilty of having many obsession (most of which relate to Spanish men - haii Enrique, Fabregas ETC) but boots are definitely one of the most prominent - especially of the ankle variety. Due to this obsession I spent most of yesterday evening hunting down the most fabulous affordable boots that I could find (and add to my WANTNEEDGETMENOW list of course)

Here's the beauties that I found - seperated into sections for you because I'm nice like that ;)

Heels

Wedges

Flats

So there we are honies, some boots that're made for catwalkin ;)
I promise I'll stop with the puns now ha-ha enjoy your day!

That Seventies Style

Hello my lovelies, I hope you're all well on this deliciously sunny late summer day. I know it's Monday but at least if the suns shining then the idea of trecking out to work doesn't seem quiiite as bad, no?

To brighten your day yet further I've been on the hunt for Autumn/Winter style previews again and today I'm bringing you the High-Streets interpritation of one of this Autumns hottest (or coolest shall we say? Much more appropriate ha-ha) trends :

The Seventies.
A decade full of the beautiful juxtoposistion of hedonistic partying and laid back festival frequenting the Seventies is one of my absolute favourite for fashion inspiration.

Here's my top ten high-street picks for Retro Stylin'2011:
This beautiful blush toned blouse just screams seventies luxe to me. From the Studio 54 style sequins to the sexy sheer sleeves this is one seventies shirt that every lady needs in her wardrobe this Autumn. I would team with wet look leggings and killer metallic platforms for a look David Bowie would be begging to borrow!
Topshop £65.00
Now - It wouldn't be Seventies stylin' without a maxi dress or two and this beauty was impossible to leave out! With it's on trend colouring and funky pattern it perfectly fits into your Autumn/Winter must have spec. Wear over a sheer long sleeved blouse + belt tightly. Add a pair of platform boots and you'll look like the next Bianca Jagger.
Miss Selfridge £32.00

In the words of one of the modern day vintage champions Rachel Zoe 'I DIE!' 'It's Bananas' 'Shut the front door' ETC. This is seventies stylin in all it's faux fur REAL glam glory. Team over a simple long sleeve top, flared jeans and platforms and Zoe herself will be offering you a glam contract.
Topshop £70.00

The Seventies were definitely not a decade for the timid dresser. These pants are loud + proud of it. Tone them down by teaming them with a simple black or white tank + Brown platforms. Effortlessly chic but the cut can be tricky to pull off so try these babies on before you swipe the card.
Topshop £45.00

Next up we have these platforms that are so hot Elvis would probably bribe you for a loan of them. Super glam but comfy thanks to that oh-so-practical chunky heel these would look fab with any party frock or wide legged jeans.
New Look £24.99
Speaking of wide-legged jeans here is possibly the best bargain you'll get! Super flattering jeans in a mid-denim colour with a small flair to flatter any figure (all your pears need a pair -pardon the pun- of these in your life to balance out those beautiful hips of yours)team with anything from long line vests + faux fur to pussybow blouses and platforms. Tres chic and an absolute steal:
Peacocks £12.00
Then for underneath your new flares we have these faaabulous platform boots that again wouldn't look out of place on a certain Miss Zoe. Neutral enough to work with anything these could prove to be a real staple for your winter wardrobe. Plus with the platform on those who needs studio 54 - every streets a disco!
Missguided £27.99

Next up we have this super pretty printed frock with a gorgeous pussybow neckline. Perfect with black tights + brogues for a simple daytime look or killer platforms and wine coloured stockings for a night on the town.
Miss Selfridge £46.00
Next up we have another gorgeous pair of platforms. These ones are just gorgeous with their subtle suede material and large blocky heel - The seventies girls sure new how to party so take a hint from them and stock up on block heels for the christmas season! Equally fab for day or night these would look great teamed with the jeans featured above.
New Look £29.99

Lastly we have this beautiful printed blouse which fits right into my 'mustards and custard' colour scheme block a couple of posts back. Elegant yet really glam this'd look perfect tucked into a pair of jeans for an off-duty chic look or worn over some daring hotpants for a night on the razz.
River Island £35.00
So there we are then loves! A quick trip in the time machine back to the shimmering seventies! Hope you like the picks and check back later this week for more High-Street trend covering!

Happy Mondays!

Autumn Colour Blocks

Hey sweeties, I do hope you're all well and good today - finally mid-week which that meens the countdown to the weekend has begun! Today I'm recooperating from a nasty bout of acid-reflux that had me up all night (most attractively) feeling like I was going to throw up any second and pacing my room to wait for the pain to subside. Sigh. I do hope your Tuesday nights were a lot less painfl and more glam than mine that's for sure!

Anyway, nothing like a little fashion goodness to cheer a poorly blogger up and today I've been waving my creative wand on Polyvore and scouring the high-street sections for a look at what lovely colours will be coming our way this Colder season. (I don't know why I called it this as we never seem to get a warmer season for the temperatures to drop from ha-ha)

Anyway here are some block sets of what I discovered (For a closer look at any of the featured items just click the photo and it will take you to my polyvore set list page):

Mustards and Custards
If you haven't thrown up (god I am vomit obsessed today?!) at the rather delicious sounding title above, feast your eyes on this selection of gorgeous yellow + brown earthy toned goodies all from the Great British High-Street. These colours are the very embodiment of Autumn style and scenery and I'm personally a little obsessed with the mustard platforms and the central brown bow coat. Perfection.

Red Red Wine
Ahhh, now if this collection doesn't make you think of sipping a delicious bottleglass of red whilst curled up infront of a toasty fire I don't know what will. This particular shade of red has to be one of the most beautiful colours around and I certainly cannot wait to get my hands on a couple of the items from above - namely the sheer shirt and skinny red belt (perfect for belting a cute vintage tea-dress)

Back to Black
As a bit of a black obsessive (literally - half my wardrobe - no joke) I'm more than thrilled that 'grown up goth' is making a comeback this Autumn/Winter. With Luxurious fabrics and incredible detail the items from the above collection combine ridiculously easy style (what can be simpler than black for a go-to all flattering look?) with a beautiful edge that meens I cannot wait to further develop my black-catalogue (ha-ha couldn't resist sorry)

So there we are my loves, a quick peek (again) at what we can expect on the good ole high-street this Autumn. What are you excited to shop for? Is there anything special that's caught your eye lately?

Pink Monday

Hello my loves! I hope you're all well on this gloriously sunny Monday ( I don't say that sentance very often that's for sure!) Recently two very strange things have occured to turn my world upside down ...

1. I woke up in a fabulous productive mood ... On a Monday! Seriously this is one very strange occurance for me ha-ha I'm not quite sure how to handle my newfound mojo but I'm sure fashionismyh2o will only benefit ha-ha!

2. I've developed a rather sudden and compelling love for all things pastel pink. Argh. How did that happen? I am the queen of black leather, lace and distressed Tee's, of heavy eyeliner and studded detailing... and now here I am coo'ing over anything pretty and pink ... slightly unexpected to say the least.

This new addiction has lead me to go on a quick hunt this morning for the prettiest pinks the high-street has to offer. Here's what I discovered:

Firstly I discovered this fairy-tale style blouse which is just stunnning. I adore the piping and the subtle embellishment. This top is perfect either for summer nights with a pair of denim cuttofs and some gorgeous sandles OR winter party time with wet look leggings + killer heels. Absolutely beautiful.
Topshop £28.00

Next up we have this beautiful ballet style skirt which with it's elegant draping and dusky colour is just begging to be teamed with a messy bun and some ballet flats for off duty ballerina chic. This again would look equally beautiful in winter with slouchy boots and a thick black knit. Delicious.
Miss Selfridge £26.00

We then have this super cute peachy-pink dress which I fell in love with the second I saw. I love the cut and the cute button detailing. This also allows me to bring a little bit of my trademark rock n roll back into the equation as just howww fabulous would this look teamed with a cropped biker jacket?
We then have this gorgeous empire style top - my first thought upon seeing this beauty was 'omg collar' my second 'omg tummy hiding' ha-ha perfect combination no? This would be >the< top to choose on one of those pesky bloated days.
Topshop £32.00

Then lastly, we have these DIVINE heels. I want want want these so bad I cannot even verbalise ha-ha. I'm dreaming of teaming them with wet look leather and a long vest. Orr just how >gorgeous< and girly would they look teamed with a floral frock for a late Summer wedding. -sighs- need them in my life!
Missguided £34.99

So there we are then my loves that is my Pink Monday. I hope you all have a fabulous start to the week too, what colours are you obsessing over at the moment?

Wednesday Wish List - Missguided eddition.

Hello babes! Hope everyone is doing well  this week :) mid-week party time already woo! Today the long- lost Wednesday Wish List section is back with a very special twist! Most of you I'm sure will have by now heard of http://www.missguided.co.uk/ the amazing online fashion website! Missguided has a fabulous selection of gorgeous outfits from party dresses to holiday ready summer dresses

I am absolutely loving the site at the moment - mostly because I can be as lazy as I want on a Saturday, avoid the manic push and shove of the city center and still find some gorge clothes to add to my bursting wardrobe. Here are my top favourites from Missguided today :

Firstly we have this amazing pale blue printed maxi dress which I completely and utterly fell in love with. The delicate colour scheme and cute pattern are just so feminine and cute without being sickly! This to me is a very Nicole Richie/Rachel Zoe style dress and I'd team it with some sandals and a denim jacket for a real summer feel.
Missguided £32.99

Next up we have this flirty and glam frock which would be perfect for those Summer Nights (ew singing Grease in my head now) as it's sexy and sassy and flattering in black but also lightweight enough to cope with the heat of a Summer Club. Perfecto.
Missguided £24.99
Next we have these fierce wedges which I personally think again look very Nicole Richie - I can imagine her teaming them with a gorgeous floral dress to toughen it up. I'd team with skinny jeans and a loose tee for a look that screams laid back glamour, or with the black dress above for a chic party time look.
Missguided £35.99

Then we have this beautiful demure day dress that I think would be amazing for a summer date. The cute floral patterning and floaty hemline keep it quirky whilst the length and cut keep it appropriate (no flashing on the first date) I'd team either with nude courts like the model in the picture or with some super pretty sandals for a more casual affair.
We then have this divine Mocha shaded maxi dress that is the ultimate in relaxed glamour. The beautiful colour would look gorgeous with your summer tans and the super flattering cut allows you to keep your shape whilst it skims any post-holiday overindulgences - my kind of holiday essential.
Missguided £17.99

Finally we have these completely fierce platform heels. I adore the bold colour of them - think how much they'd jazz up your favourite LBD. These are perfect for those girls who want to get in on the colour-blocking trend but feel a little too self-conscious to wrap their body in hot pink lyrca! Additionally these would look incredible in winter teamed with some sexy leather leggings!
Missguided £35.99

So there you are lovelies! What do you think of the lovely missguided? Personally they're deffo a fave of mine - trendy as hell and perfect for fashion on a budget!
Check them out and let me know what you'd love to be buying this week <3
